The company operates direct-to-consumer channels encompassing retail and outlet stores, branded e-commerce sites, concession shop-in-shops, as well as wholesale and licensing businesses, targeting affluent and fashion-conscious consumers, professionals, and younger demographics across North America, Europe, Asia, and other international markets. Founded in 1941 and headquartered at 10 Hudson Yards in New York City, Tapestry, formerly known as Coach, Inc. until its rebranding in October 2017, employs approximately 19,000 people globally and reported net sales of $5.6 billion for Coach and $1.2 billion for Kate Spade in the latest period.
