Business
Trillion Energy International Inc. (CSE: TCF; OTCQB: TRLEF) is a Canada-based oil and gas exploration and production company focused on natural gas development and high-impact oil exploration primarily in Turkiye. The company holds a 49% interest in the South Akcakoca Sub-Basin (SASB) natural gas field in the Black Sea, featuring offshore platforms, pipelines, and a gas processing plant; a 19.6% interest (9.8% for three wells) in the Cendere oil field; and exploration interests in Southeast Turkiye's Cudi-Gabar province and the Vranino 1-11 block in Bulgaria for unconventional natural gas. It offers natural gas production and distribution to markets in Europe and Turkiye, alongside oil exploration activities supported by cutting-edge technology and existing infrastructure for commercialization. Founded in 2015 and headquartered at 838 West Hastings Street, Suite 700, Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, the company formerly operated as Park Place Energy Inc. prior to its name change in April 2019. Trillion Energy conducts operations across three segments: North America (corporate), Turkiye (primary production and exploration), and Bulgaria (exploration), targeting regional energy demands with sustainable practices. Its assets include proven reserves valued at approximately USD $421 million (NPV10) in the SASB field and ongoing development of stratigraphic gas prospects beyond initial structural wells. In recent developments, Trillion Energy commenced a six-well drilling program at the SASB field in September 2022, completed velocity string operations on Bayhanli-2 and Alapli-2 wells in early 2025 to reach six completed wells, and initiated nitrogen stimulation to boost production; the company announced 2024 guidance targeting 11 producing wells, seismic acquisition, and two high-impact oil exploration wells in Southeast Turkiye. Production rose 300% from 2022 to 2023, with plans for 17+ wells and gas market delivery in 2025 via established pipelines. In June 2025, it settled debt through issuance of 3.9 million common shares for management services, and in November 2025, proposed issuing 3.57 million shares at $0.035 each to settle $125,033 in consultant debt.
