Mammoth Energy Services, Inc. (NASDAQ: TUSK) is an integrated, growth-oriented energy services company providing a diversified suite of rental, infrastructure, and energy services across North America, with operations in the United States, Canada, and internationally; the company focuses on construction and repair of the electric grid for private, public investor-owned, and co-operative utilities, as well as products and services enabling exploration and development of onshore unconventional oil and natural gas reserves. Founded in 2014 and headquartered in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Mammoth offers core products and services including infrastructure services such as engineering, design, construction, upgrade, maintenance, repair of high-voltage transmission lines, substations, overhead and underground distribution systems, commercial wiring, storm repair, and fiber optic solutions; well completion services encompassing hydraulic fracturing, sand hauling, water transfer, pressure pumping, coil tubing, flowback, crude oil hauling, cementing, acidizing, production testing, solids control, and hydrostatic testing; natural sand proppant services involving mining, processing, sales, and logistics for frac sand; drilling services including directional and contract land drilling, rig moving, and torque services; and other energy services such as specialized equipment rentals for cranes, light plants, generators, helicopters, aviation support, workforce accommodations, and transportation. The company serves government-funded utilities, independent oil and natural gas producers, land-based drilling contractors, and serves key markets in regions like the Utica Shale, Marcellus Shale, Permian Basin, and mid-continent. Recent major changes include the December 2025 sale of its engineering subsidiary Aquawolf LLC to Qualus LLC for $30 million to advance portfolio optimization; April 2025 divestiture of infrastructure subsidiaries Five Star Electric, Higher Power Electrical, and Python Equipment to Peak Utility Services Group for $108.7 million; June 2025 sale of hydraulic fracturing equipment to MGB Manufacturing for $15 million; and expansion of its rental services segment through acquisition of leased aircraft assets for stable recurring revenue.
