Business
Titan International, Inc. (NYSE: TWI) manufactures and sells wheels, tires, wheel and tire assemblies, undercarriage systems, and related components for off-highway vehicles and equipment; its Agricultural segment supplies rims, wheels, and tires for tractors, combines, plows, planters, sprayers, and irrigation equipment; the Earthmoving/Construction segment provides products for earthmovers, loaders, bulldozers, articulated trucks, excavators, graders, scrapers, skid steers, and military vehicles; and the Consumer segment offers light truck tires in Latin America and Russia, as well as turf and golf cart products. Headquartered in West Chicago, Illinois, with manufacturing and distribution facilities in the United States, Europe, Latin America, and China, the company traces its roots to the Electric Wheel Company founded in 1890 in Quincy, Illinois, and operates globally through a network of OEM customers, aftermarket dealers, and independent distributors serving agricultural, earthmoving/construction, mining, forestry, outdoor power equipment, powersports, trailers, and consumer markets. In February 2024, Titan acquired Carlstar Group LLC for approximately $296 million in cash and stock consideration, adding specialty tires and wheels for lawn and garden, ATV/UTV, high-speed trailers, and small to midsize agricultural and construction equipment, along with four manufacturing plants and twelve distribution centers; in October 2025, it closed a strategic partnership with Brazilian wheel manufacturer Rodaros, investing $4 million for a 20% stake and one board seat, with an option to acquire the remaining 80% in 2029, to enhance wheel and tire assembly distribution in Brazil and South America.
