Business
Li Peng Enterprise Co., Ltd. (1447.TW) manufactures and markets nylon chips, nylon filament yarns, and synthetic fabrics primarily in Asia. The company produces nylon chips for fiber, high tenacity filament, BOPA film, and compounding applications; nylon filament yarns including FDY (fully drawn yarn), POY (partially oriented yarn), and HOY (highly oriented yarn); and specialized functional yarns such as SecoTec cool and dry nylon yarn, SecoTec II thermolysis yarn, THERMAOLON easy warm yarn, UV-cut yarn, Ecoya solution-dyed yarn, ReEcoya recycled yarn, and Nylon Plus recycled nylon fiber. It also offers various synthetic fabrics for industrial uses, home textiles including flame-retardant and blackout varieties up to three meters wide, and high-function textiles for sportswear, outdoor gear, fashion wear, uniforms, hunting, and knitting applications; petrochemicals complete its core offerings. Founded in 1975 and headquartered in Taipei, Taiwan, at 6F, No. 162, Songjiang Road, the company operates advanced production facilities including the Li Peng Polyamide Main Factory with six nylon-6 polymerization lines capable of up to 1,600 tons per day, Changhua Weaving Plant with automated high-density textile capabilities, and Yangmei Weaving and Dyeing Plant featuring Asia's first computer-controlled dye weighting and automated color matching systems. Li Peng belongs to the LIBOLON group, formed in 2007 through integration with LeaLea Enterprise Co., Ltd. to provide end-to-end services in polymerization, spinning, weaving, dyeing, and post-finishing for polyester and nylon products across Asia, targeting brands in apparel, sportswear, home textiles, and industrial sectors. Operations extend to subsidiaries such as PT Indonesia Libolon Fiber System and PT Indonesia Hwalin Knitting, supporting expanded capacity amid global trade shifts. In recent developments, Li Peng reported consolidated revenue of NT$34.825 billion for 2024, up 17.38% year-over-year, with net income after tax of NT$73 million, reflecting a 116.86% increase driven by stabilized nylon prices and customer demand for differentiated products. The company advanced eco-friendly innovations including Nylon Plus recycled nylon fiber, RePET eco-regenerated polyester fiber, ReEcoya eco-recycled dope-dyed black fiber, CRZ high-performance yarn, and biodegradable fabrics to meet global sustainability demands under GRS, Oeko-Tex, Bluesign, and ZDHC certifications. It expanded into non-textile markets like engineering plastics and electric vehicle lightweight nylon chips while relocating partial capacity to Indonesia to mitigate U.S. tariff impacts effective April 2025, alongside increased local procurement for supply chain resilience.
