Business
AgEagle Aerial Systems, Inc. (NYSE American: UAVS), doing business as EagleNXT, designs, manufactures, and delivers autonomous uncrewed aerial systems (UAS), sensors, and software-as-a-service (SaaS) solutions worldwide. The company operates through three segments—Drones, Sensors, and SaaS—providing full-stack drone platforms including the eBee series such as eBee TAC, eBee X, eBee VISION, and eBee Ag; advanced multispectral and thermal sensors like MicaSense Altum-PT, RedEdge-P, and RedEdge-Pdual; and software solutions including Measure Ground Control for enterprise fleet management, flight planning, data processing, and compliance, as well as FarmLens for crop health monitoring via NDVI analytics. These offerings serve agriculture for precision farming and environmental monitoring; energy and utilities for infrastructure inspection and pipeline surveying; construction for site mapping; government, military/defense, and public safety for intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance (ISR), and tactical operations; and surveying/mapping industries with high-resolution 3D visualization and NDAA-compliant systems. Founded in 2010 and headquartered in Wichita, Kansas, AgEagle targets commercial enterprises, government agencies, and defense customers across North America, Europe, and other international markets through subsidiaries like senseFly and MicaSense. In recent developments, the company secured 17 purchase orders for eBee TAC drones from U.S. defense and security customers in late 2024, with deliveries completed by November, advancing its strategy in the tactical ISR vertical. AgEagle announced a strategic partnership in July 2025 with an unnamed Israeli defense firm to integrate AI-driven autonomous mission planning and control with eBee VISION drones, enhancing real-time ISR capabilities through adaptive algorithms and system-of-systems architecture. Additionally, in November 2025, it entered a purchase-sales agreement for up to $100 million in Series G funding to support growth initiatives, while reporting a $1.4 million increase in drone revenue for Q3 fiscal 2025 amid focus on U.S. defense expansion and operational efficiency.
