Business
UFP Industries, Inc. UFP Industries, Inc. is a diversified holding company that designs, manufactures and supplies wood-based and engineered products, including wood and non-wood composites, primarily through three operating segments: UFP Retail Solutions, UFP Construction, and UFP Packaging. UFP Retail Solutions offers pressure-treated lumber, decking, fencing, garden products under brands such as ProWood, and advanced interior/exterior design elements including composite decking from Deckorators to big-box retailers, independents and buying co-ops across North America. UFP Construction provides trusses, wall panels, engineered wood components, concrete forming products, and factory-built housing supplies such as mobile and modular home materials to single- and multi-family residential builders, commercial constructors, concrete formers and RV manufacturers primarily in North America; UFP Packaging delivers custom wood pallets, crates, structural packaging, protective solutions with integrated tracking, corrugated packaging, and OEM components to industrial, e-commerce, retail and global customers using advanced materials and engineering. UFP International supports worldwide operations with a global supply chain for wood-based and engineered products. The company operates 215 locations across nine countries in North America, Europe, Asia and Australia, targeting residential construction, retail building products, industrial packaging, commercial construction and e-commerce markets, with over 15,000 employees. Founded in 1955 and headquartered in Grand Rapids, Michigan, UFP Industries, Inc. has evolved from a lumber supplier to the manufactured housing industry into an innovation, logistics, design and value-added solutions provider. In recent developments, UFP Industries, Inc. completed three bolt-on acquisitions in 2025 to enhance product fit and culture alignment, opened a new 165,000-square-foot corrugated packaging facility in Jeffersonville, Indiana in late 2024 with ongoing expansions into 2025 for retail and e-commerce, announced a third western U.S. corrugated facility to serve expanding customer needs, authorized a $200 million share repurchase program in July 2024, and committed up to $1 billion through 2028—and $300-325 million in 2025—for capital investments in automation, technology upgrades, geographic expansion and capacity increases, particularly in Deckorators, site-built and packaging units.
