- Dai Chau Joint Stock Company (operating as EDX Group Joint Stock Company, ticker: UPCOM:DCS) is a Vietnam-based diversified enterprise primarily engaged in the manufacture of wood furniture, commodity and industrial trading, and real estate and construction services. Founded in April 2000 and headquartered in Hanoi, Vietnam, the company serves residential, commercial, and institutional clients across domestic and regional markets.
The company operates through three primary business divisions: Furniture and Wood Processing, Commodity and Industrial Trading, and Construction and Real Estate. In its Furniture and Wood Processing segment, the company designs, manufactures, and installs high-grade natural and engineered wood furnishings under the Dai Chau Furniture brand, including architectural wooden doors, frames, and wall paneling; hardwood, parquet, and laminate flooring solutions; residential living room, bedroom, and customized kitchen cabinetry; commercial office workstations and executive furniture suites; and turnkey interior fit-out solutions for hotels, restaurants, and luxury residential projects. In its Commodity and Industrial Trading segment, the company engages in the domestic wholesale and cross-border trade of agricultural and industrial materials, including natural rubber latex, coagulated and processed rubber sheets, raw timber, and forestry products; as well as the commercial distribution and importation of woodworking machinery, industrial manufacturing equipment, and construction materials. In its Construction and Real Estate segment, the company executes civil engineering, commercial building, and transport infrastructure projects; provides residential and commercial property development, real estate agency, and building management services; and delivers commercial office relocation, machinery moving, and site preparation services.
In recent corporate developments, the company executed a major strategic restructuring and rebranding program, officially changing its corporate name from Dai Chau Group Joint Stock Company to EDX Group Joint Stock Company in August 2025. This transition followed significant governance reorganizations initiated at an extraordinary general meeting of shareholders in April 2024, which appointed a new Board of Directors and executive leadership under Chairman Nguyen Dinh Hung to resolve operational suspensions and stabilize enterprise operations. Between 2024 and 2026, the company implemented a comprehensive turnaround plan focused on clearing historic financial reporting backlogs with the State Securities Commission of Vietnam, resolving capital constraints, and reactivating core commercial trading and manufacturing activities, supported by significant executive equity consolidation in early 2026 to advance long-term operational recovery.
