Business
Dinh Binh Hydro Power Joint Stock Company (UPCoM: TDB) is a Vietnam-based renewable energy and infrastructure company primarily engaged in the generation, transmission, and wholesale distribution of hydroelectric power. Founded in 2004 and headquartered in Gia Lai Province, Vietnam, the company develops, manages, and operates power generation assets, centered on the Dinh Binh Hydropower Plant situated on the Kon River in Binh Dinh Province, which possesses a total installed capacity of 9.9 megawatts across three turbine-generator units. The company operates across multiple specialized energy and infrastructure segments, offering products and services that include: electric power generation and wholesale supply to the national power grid through power purchase agreements with Vietnam Electricity (EVN) and Central Power Corporation (EVNCPC); operation, maintenance, testing, and technical management of small-to-medium hydropower plants and hydraulic structures; engineering, procurement, construction, and installation of power transmission networks, distribution lines, and transformer substations up to 22 kV and 110 kV; technical consultancy, project design, feasibility assessment, and construction supervision for hydroelectric and auxiliary industrial infrastructure; civil, industrial, and irrigation construction works; and the leasing and repair of specialized electrical and construction machinery. In recent developments, Dinh Binh Hydro Power Joint Stock Company has executed key corporate governance and operational adjustments. In April 2025, the company reorganized its executive leadership with the appointment of Mr. Nguyen Kim Chien as Chairman of the Board of Directors for the 2023 to 2028 tenure, following the resignation of former Chairman Thai Van Thang. Operationally, the company has maintained steady production and plant availability, optimizing water resource utilization and modernizing grid synchronization systems at the Dinh Binh facility to exceed planned output targets. The company has also continued its robust capital allocation and shareholder return strategy, completing successive multi-tranche cash dividend payouts across 2024, 2025, and into 2026.
