Visteon Corporation (VC), founded in 2000 as a spin-off from Ford Motor Company and headquartered in Van Buren Township, Michigan, designs, engineers and manufactures automotive cockpit electronics, connected car systems and electrification products for major global automakers; its core offerings encompass digital cockpit solutions including instrument clusters, advanced displays, head-up displays (HUDs), Android-based infotainment systems, domain controllers such as SmartCore and DriveCore platforms, telematics and OTA update solutions, voice assistants, battery management systems, high-voltage power electronics, on-board chargers, DC-DC converters and AI-integrated software for software-defined vehicles across passenger cars, commercial vehicles and two-wheelers. The company operates through a global network of technical centers, manufacturing facilities and shared services in 17-18 countries spanning North America, Europe, Asia and other regions, employing approximately 10,000 people and generating $3.87 billion in 2024 revenue. Recent developments include securing $6.1 billion in new business wins in 2024 highlighted by expanded relationships with Toyota and Maruti Suzuki, first SmartCore high-performance compute wins in China, power electronics awards with a German OEM, diversification into commercial vehicles and two-wheelers with launches for Volvo Construction Equipment and TVS Apache, 16 new product launches in Q1 2025 focused on digital clusters and infotainment for hybrid and electric vehicles, ongoing margin expansion, share repurchases totaling $63 million under a $300 million authorization, initiation of quarterly dividends and strong Q3 2025 performance with $1.8 billion in additional wins.
