- Vinland Lithium Inc. is a Canadian mineral exploration company engaged in the acquisition, exploration and development of lithium, cesium and other critical mineral properties, with its principal asset being the 100% owned Killick Lithium Project in southwestern Newfoundland and Labrador. Founded in 2023 and headquartered in Thunder Bay, Ontario, the company focuses on spodumene- and cesium-bearing pegmatite targets, including the Kraken and Hydra pegmatite fields, and also evaluates additional mineral occurrences such as tungsten and molybdenum within its broader property package. Vinland operates in Canada through exploration activities that include prospecting, geological mapping, geochemical sampling and ground geophysics, while targeting the critical minerals market for battery, industrial and specialty metals applications.
Recent corporate developments include the commencement of its 2026 exploration program on the Killick Lithium Project, with work planned to advance the project through targeted field activities. The company also signed a land purchase agreement in June 2026 to acquire additional mineral claims, and later announced the identification of high-priority tungsten targets from its sampling database, broadening its exploration focus beyond lithium. In July 2026, Vinland announced a non-brokered flow-through financing of up to $300,000, and in August 2026 it extended the financing closing date to September 30, 2026 pending TSX Venture Exchange approval. Earlier operational milestones included the company’s TSX Venture Exchange listing and website launch in 2025, as well as the appointment of Barry Sparkes as Vice President, Exploration.
