Valeo serves automakers and new mobility players across Europe, Asia (including China), North America, Africa, the Middle East, Oceania, and South America with original equipment and aftermarket spare parts through its Valeo Service activity; it employs over 109,000 people across 29 countries, 184 production plants, and numerous R&D centers. Recent developments include the creation of the POWER Division in April 2024 through the merger of thermal and powertrain systems businesses to optimize operations; divestiture of non-strategic assets such as the Thermal Commercial Vehicles business in June 2024 and PIAA in August 2024 as part of a 500 million euro program; multiple strategic partnerships in 2024-2025, including with AWS in January 2025 for software-defined vehicles, Virta in February 2025 for integrated charging, MAHLE in October 2024 for magnet-free electric motors (iBEE), TotalEnergies in October 2024 for EV advancements, HERE Technologies in October 2024 for Smart Safety 360, ams OSRAM in December 2024 for vehicle interiors, CEA renewed in December 2024 for sustainable mobility, ROHM Semiconductor in November 2024 for power electronics, Seeing Machines in July 2024 for monitoring solutions, Dassault Systèmes in June 2024 for R&D digitalization, and others like Teledyne FLIR, Sennheiser, Applied Intuition, and ZutaCore earlier in 2024; new product launches such as Ineez Air Charging, Cyclee Mid-Drive Unit updates, Heat Reuse Units, and Valeo Racer gaming; opening of a new ADAS plant in Daegu, South Korea in March 2024; and the Elevate 2028 strategic plan unveiled in November 2025 targeting sales growth, higher margins, and cash generation amid 2024 results showing sales of 21.5 billion euros, EBITDA margin of 13.3%, and free cash flow of 481 million euros after restructuring.
