- Westmount Minerals Corp. is a mineral exploration company focused on the identification, acquisition, exploration and development of gold projects in Canada. The company holds 100% interests in the Douay East gold property, comprising approximately 4,800 hectares in Quebec's Abitibi Greenstone Belt near prolific gold-producing regions south of Matagami; the Bell Gold property, covering approximately 3,700 hectares in the Casa Berardi Deformation Zone within the same belt; and previously explored lithium properties including Otatakan, Pilot East and Kaba, though these non-core assets were divested. Westmount Minerals operates primarily in the province of Quebec, targeting gold mineralization through mapping, sampling, geochemical analysis and drill-ready advancement of high-potential targets. Incorporated in 2020 and headquartered at 470 Granville Street in Vancouver, British Columbia, the company recently closed a private placement of common shares in March 2025 to fund exploration; appointed a new director in March 2025; and announced in October 2024 a strategic shift to concentrate exclusively on precious metals, particularly the Douay East gold property, including termination of its lithium portfolio to streamline operations on drill-ready gold opportunities.
