In recent developments, Woodward completed its acquisition of Safran S.A.'s North American electromechanical actuation business in July 2025, adding intellectual property, operations in the United States, Mexico, and Canada, key talent, and long-term customer agreements including Horizontal Stabilizer Trim Actuation systems for the Airbus A350 to bolster its primary flight controls portfolio and aerospace growth strategy; earlier, in November 2024, the company divested its heavy-duty gas turbine combustion parts business in Greenville, South Carolina, to GE Vernova, Inc., enabling sharper focus on high-value energy control innovations.
