Fujian Makeng Mining Co., Ltd. engages in the development, mining, beneficiation and comprehensive utilization of iron ore resources in China. The Company operates the Makeng Iron Mine in Longyan, Fujian Province, and produces and sells TFe 65% pellet-grade iron concentrate powder; Mo 40% molybdenum concentrate recovered from associated ore; limestone; crushed stone of at least 5 millimeters; and coarse tailings sand, while operating a waste-rock processing and utilization system. Its iron concentrate is principally supplied to steel producers in Fujian Province and other customers in southeastern China. The Company’s operations are concentrated in the Makeng Iron Mine, a large-scale underground deposit containing iron ore, associated molybdenum ore and cement-grade limestone resources. Fujian Makeng Mining was founded in 1995 and is headquartered at No. 3 Jiangjun Road, Xinluo District, Longyan, Fujian, China. It is a state-controlled enterprise whose shareholders include Fujian Rare Earth (Group) Co., Ltd., Zijin Mining Group Co., Ltd., Longyan Mining Development Co., Ltd. and the Fujian Longyan Geological Brigade. In 2026, the Company received registration approval for its Shanghai Stock Exchange Main Board initial public offering and completed an offering of up to 123.5 million A-shares under ticker 601123.SS. Net proceeds are designated for the Makeng Iron Mine Mining and Processing Capacity Expansion Project, which is intended to increase annual iron ore mining and processing capacity from 5 million tonnes to 10 million tonnes and expand the Company’s supply of domestic high-grade iron concentrate.
