ABN AMRO Bank N.V. ABN AMRO Bank N.V. operates as a full-service Dutch universal bank providing retail, private, commercial, corporate and institutional banking products and services primarily in the Netherlands with selective international operations in 15 countries including Europe and Asia. The bank offers current accounts, debit and credit cards, savings and time deposit accounts, mortgage loans including through brands Florius and Moneyou, consumer loans, investment funds, wealth management advisory and financial planning for high-net-worth individuals, business loans, equipment financing, vendor leases, green investment products, brokerage, clearing and custody services; it serves approximately 5 million customers including individuals, small and medium-sized enterprises, large corporates and financial institutions via multichannel distribution encompassing mobile apps, internet banking and personal advisors. Founded with origins dating back to 1824 and re-established in its current form in 2010 following a prior acquisition and breakup, ABN AMRO Bank N.V. maintains headquarters at Gustav Mahlerlaan 10, 1082 PP Amsterdam, Netherlands, and employs around 22,000 full-time equivalents predominantly in the Netherlands. In November 2025, the bank agrees to acquire NIBC Bank from Blackstone for approximately EUR 960 million to bolster its Dutch retail mortgage and savings franchises serving affluent clients in Northwest Europe, while planning to discontinue the Moneyou brand, merge ABN AMRO Hypotheken Groep B.V. for efficiency gains and explore synergies with its BUX investment platform; it also announces a new profitable growth strategy at its Capital Markets Day on November 25, 2025, alongside selling subsidiary Alfam to Rabobank for consumer credit consolidation.
