Accel Entertainment, Inc. Accel Entertainment, Inc. (NYSE: ACEL) operates as a leading distributed gaming and local entertainment provider in the United States, installing, maintaining, operating, and servicing gaming terminals and related equipment; redemption devices that disburse winnings and incorporate automated teller machine functionality; stand-alone ATMs; and amusement devices including jukeboxes, dartboards, pool tables, and other entertainment equipment in authorized non-casino locations such as bars, restaurants, taverns, convenience stores, liquor stores, truck stops, and grocery stores. The company generates revenue primarily from net gaming, amusement operations, manufacturing of gaming terminals, ATM fees, and related services, serving location partners across multiple states including Illinois, Montana, Nevada, Nebraska, Georgia, Iowa, Pennsylvania, and Louisiana through brands such as Century Gaming, Grand Vision Gaming, Bulldog Gaming, and Toucan Gaming; it manages approximately 24,000 terminals as of late 2024 and employs around 1,500 people. Founded in 2010 by Andrew Rubenstein and Gordon Rubenstein and headquartered in Burr Ridge, Illinois, Accel Entertainment holds a pioneering position as one of the first licensed terminal operators by the Illinois Gaming Board in 2012, focusing on long-term partnerships with local businesses to enhance revenue through turnkey gaming solutions, compliance management, cash logistics, and marketing support. Recent major developments include the 2024 acquisition of 85% ownership in Toucan Gaming and LSM Gaming for $40 million to expand into Louisiana with over 450 video poker terminals at truck stops and 180 additional terminals at 60 locations, expected to generate $25 million in 2025 revenue; the closure of the Fairmount Holdings acquisition adding the FanDuel Sportsbook & Racetrack with Phase I casino construction underway for a Q2 2025 opening; and earlier expansions via the 2023 Fair Play Amusements deal in Georgia and ongoing tuck-in mergers that drove record Q4 2024 revenue and $331.5 million in Q3 2024 net revenues.
