(Nasdaq: AEIS) designs, manufactures, and sells highly engineered precision power conversion, measurement, and control solutions for mission-critical applications worldwide. Founded in 1981 and headquartered in Denver, Colorado, the company serves semiconductor equipment, industrial production including thin film processes such as dry etch and deposition, flat panel display manufacturing, data centers computing, networking and telecommunications, medical and life sciences equipment; its core products include plasma power generators such as EVOS, eVerest, and NAVEX platforms, high and low voltage power supplies encompassing AC-DC and DC-DC converters including the NDQ1600 series and Evergreen FCM 33 kW shelf, sensing and instrumentation solutions such as Luxtron fiber optic temperature sensors and Sekidenko pyrometers, power control modules, SCR controllers from the Thyro family, and non-contact mid-wave pyrometers; through subsidiaries and acquired brands like Artesyn, Excelsys, SL Power, TEGAM, TREK, UltraVolt, LumaSense, and Sekidenko, it operates manufacturing, design, sales, and service facilities across North America, Europe, Asia, and other regions. In recent developments, Advanced Energy acquired Airity Technologies in June 2024 to expand its high voltage power conversion portfolio with Gallium Nitride-based technologies for improved power density and response time; amended its credit agreement in September 2024 to expand its revolving credit facility and fully repay its term loan, enhancing financial flexibility; formed a distribution partnership with Sager Electronics in November 2024 to accelerate delivery of configurable modular power supplies; reported strong Q3 2025 earnings with EPS of $1.74 surpassing expectations, driven by data center revenue projected to more than double in 2025 amid AI demand; and launched new products including the Luxtron M-1200 fiber optic temperature converter, Sekidenko 401M pyrometer series, and ConfigPro online power configurator supporting over three million combinations. The company targets original equipment manufacturers and end-users in semiconductor, data center/AI, industrial, medical, defense, aerospace, and renewable energy markets, providing repair, maintenance, upgrades, and custom solutions via direct sales, representatives, distributors, and channel partners.
