Business
AIRO Group Holdings, Inc. operates as a multi-faceted advanced aerospace and defense company focused on drones, avionics, training, and electric air mobility solutions. The company develops, manufactures, and sells military and commercial drones through its Sky-Watch brand, including the battle-proven RQ-35 Heidrun for intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance (ISR), target tracking, mapping, surveying, inspection, localization, and cargo delivery applications. Its Avionics segment, under the Aspen Avionics brand, produces flight displays, connected panels, and GPS/GNSS sensors for military aircraft, general aviation, drones, and eVTOLs; the Training segment, via the CDI brand, delivers military pilot training, adversary air support, close air support, ISR, aircraft leasing, joint terminal attack controller (JTAC) services, and consulting to the U.S. military, NATO allies, and other partners; while the Electric Air Mobility segment advances rotorcraft eVTOL aircraft through its Jaunt brand for cargo, passenger fixed-route flights, and on-demand operations. Founded in 2021 and headquartered in Albuquerque, New Mexico, with additional operations in McLean, Virginia, AIRO Group Holdings serves military, government, and commercial customers across the United States, NATO countries, Ukraine, and global markets in the aerospace and defense sector. In November 2025, AIRO executed a definitive joint venture agreement with Ukraine-based Nord Drone Group to form AIRO Nord-Drone, LLC, combining AIRO's U.S. manufacturing and procurement expertise with Nord Drone's combat-proven technologies, which produce approximately 4,000 drones monthly including FPV strike units, loitering munitions, and multi-role bombers like the NORD-10 and NORD-15 models offering up to 15 km range and 4.5 kg payloads; this transatlantic partnership targets accelerated production and deployment for U.S., NATO, and Ukraine defense forces. The company completed its initial public offering on NASDAQ under ticker AIRO in June 2025 at $10.00 per share, following a 2023 business combination with Kernel Group Holdings via SPAC merger. AIRO reported 2024 revenue of $86.94 million, more than doubling from $43.25 million in 2023, amid ongoing expansion in uncrewed systems and air mobility.
