Autoliv primarily serves major automotive manufacturers worldwide, including OEMs in Europe, the Americas, China, Japan, and other Asian markets. Recent major developments include a strategic partnership with China Automotive Technology and Research Center (CATARC) signed in October 2025 to advance vehicle safety R&D, testing, certification, and international business development focused on the Chinese market. Autoliv also announced a joint venture with Hangsheng Electric Co., Ltd. (HSAE) to develop and manufacture advanced automotive safety electronics tailored for the rapidly evolving Chinese market, expected to launch formally in early 2026. Additionally, Autoliv completed the sale of its Russian operations to Avtodom in 2025 as part of its operational realignment. The company reported record sales of $10.4 billion in 2024, with its products estimated to have saved approximately 37,000 lives that year. Autoliv continues to lead the industry by integrating innovation and expanding its safety technology portfolio across multiple global markets.
