USA Compression Partners, LP is an independent provider of mission-critical natural gas compression and gas treating infrastructure services to the midstream and upstream energy sectors in the United States. Founded in 1998 and headquartered in Dallas, Texas, the partnership operates as a master limited partnership, with Energy Transfer LP holding the general partner interest and a significant equity ownership stake. USA Compression primarily focuses on large-horsepower compression applications under multi-year, fixed-rate service contracts with a diverse customer base comprising independent exploration and production companies, midstream gathering and processing operators, and interstate and intrastate pipeline transporters. The partnership provides a comprehensive portfolio of natural gas infrastructure and conditioning solutions, which include: large-horsepower natural gas compression services engineered for centralized gathering systems, processing plant operations, long-haul transmission pipelines, and artificial gas lift for crude oil production; natural gas treating and conditioning services encompassing carbon dioxide and hydrogen sulfide removal via specialized amine treating equipment, natural gas dehydration units, and mechanical refrigeration cooling systems; proprietary DualDrive compression technology featuring dual-drive hybrid systems that allow compression units to transition seamlessly between natural gas-fired engines and electric motors to lower site emissions and optimize energy efficiency; and full-service operations management comprising unit design, logistics, installation, telemetry-enabled monitoring, comprehensive maintenance, mechanical repairs, and aftermarket parts distribution. Geographically, the partnership deploys its fleet across the most active and prolific producing basins in the United States, including the Permian Basin, Marcellus and Utica Shales, Mid-Continent, Eagle Ford, Haynesville, Bakken, and Rocky Mountain regions. In recent developments, USA Compression Partners significantly expanded its operational footprint through the 860 million dollar acquisition of J-W Power Company, adding over 800,000 active horsepower to elevate the partnership's total active compression fleet to approximately 4.4 million horsepower while expanding its compression manufacturing, packaging, and aftermarket service capabilities. To support fleet growth and capital discipline, the partnership executed extensive debt refinancing and capital structure enhancements, including the issuance of 600 million dollars in senior unsecured notes to extend debt maturities and reduce reliance on revolving credit facilities. Furthermore, USA Compression enacted a corporate restructuring of its equity trading platform by voluntarily transferring its primary common unit listing to the Texas Stock Exchange.
