Business
Deep Industries Limited operates primarily in the oil and gas field services sector, providing a comprehensive range of products and services including natural gas compression services; drilling and workover rig services; natural gas dehydration, conditioning, and processing; integrated project management services; and production enhancement operations for mature oil and gas fields. The company specializes in charter hire of high-pressure natural gas compressors, air compressors, and a strong fleet of onshore workover and drilling rigs ranging from 150 HP to 1500 HP. It also provides integrated rental and charter-hire solutions for oil and gas field operations and holds onshore oil and natural gas blocks and coal bed methane blocks in India and Indonesia. Founded in 2006 and headquartered in India, Deep Industries maintains a dominant market position domestically, particularly in natural gas compression services, and serves a reputed clientele with low counterparty risk. The company has expanded through strategic acquisitions including the recent acquisition of a 70% stake in DNRL, making it a subsidiary to enhance operational synergies and broaden its business portfolio. Additionally, it has completed the acquisition of Kandla Energy and Chemicals Limited as a wholly owned subsidiary. Deep Industries also transferred a major long-term contract from Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) to its subsidiary, deepening its operational footprint in the sector. Recent major company changes include the expansion into production enhancement services for mature oil and gas fields to boost hydrocarbon recovery and asset life extension; acquisition of DNRL to strengthen market presence and operational control; and the amalgamation of Kandla Energy & Chemicals Limited to consolidate its energy sector services. The company continues to receive significant contracts from prominent entities like ONGC and Oil India Limited, securing large orders amounting to several hundred crore rupees for production enhancement and charter hiring services. Deep Industries thus positions itself as a key integrated service provider in the upstream to midstream oil and gas value chain across India and select international markets.
