- Andina Copper Corp. is a South America-focused copper-gold exploration company engaged in the acquisition, exploration and development of mineral properties, with a primary focus on porphyry copper and copper-gold systems in Argentina, Colombia and Chile. The company is headquartered in Vancouver, British Columbia, and was founded in 2005. Its core assets include the Piuquenes Copper-Gold Project in San Juan Province, Argentina, where it is actively drilling and advancing multiple porphyry discoveries; the Cobrasco copper-molybdenum project in Chocó, Colombia, which is in early-stage exploration and has delivered significant drill intercepts; and the Mantau copper-gold target in Chile, an undrilled prospect in the Coastal Cordillera. Andina Copper is also supported by a broader portfolio of Andean exploration assets and focuses on projects with large-scale discovery potential in premier copper belts. In July 2025, the company completed the acquisition of Rugby Resources Ltd., adding the Cobrasco and Mantau projects and materially expanding its South American project portfolio. In July 2025, it changed its name from Pampa Metals Corporation to Andina Copper Corp. and began trading under the new name shortly thereafter. In February and March 2026, the company raised aggregate gross proceeds of $27.5 million through a LIFE offering and concurrent private placement to fund exploration at Piuquenes and Cobrasco, working capital and general corporate purposes. More recently, in 2026, Andina Copper reported continued drill success at both Piuquenes and Cobrasco and appointed a Vice President, Investor Relations, reinforcing its operational and capital markets platform.
