Amphenol Corporation designs, manufactures and markets electrical, electronic and fiber-optic connectors, interconnect systems, antennas, sensors, sensor-based products, cable assemblies and high-speed cable for a broad range of end markets, including information technology and data communications, industrial, automotive, commercial aerospace, defense, mobile devices, broadband communications and mobile networks. Founded in 1932 and headquartered in Wallingford, Connecticut, the company operates through Communications Solutions, Harsh Environment Solutions and Interconnect and Sensor Systems segments, and its product portfolio includes fiber optic, high-speed, power and radio frequency interconnects; coaxial, power and specialty cable; printed circuits and printed circuit assemblies; power distribution and busbars; gas, moisture, level, position, pressure, temperature and vibration sensors; antenna solutions; cable assemblies and harnesses; cable management products; and related components. Amphenol has expanded aggressively through acquisitions, completing five deals in 2025 including Andrew, Trexon, Narda-MITEQ, LifeSync and Rochester Sensors, and closing its approximately $10.5 billion acquisition of CommScope’s Connectivity and Cable Solutions business in January 2026, which added significant fiber-optic interconnect and industrial connectivity capabilities. In the second quarter of 2026, the company completed the acquisitions of El.Com and Wilder Technologies, further strengthening its industrial, defense, commercial aerospace and IT datacom offerings. Amphenol serves customers worldwide and continues to focus on high-growth applications in AI-enabled data centers, communications networks, defense and other mission-critical connectivity markets.
