Arjo AB (publ) Arjo AB (publ) is a Sweden-based supplier of medical devices, services and solutions that empower patient mobility to improve clinical and financial outcomes in healthcare settings. Founded in 1957 by Arne Johansson in Eslöv and headquartered in Malmö, Sweden, the company offers products and solutions including patient handling and transfer equipment; hygiene and disinfection systems; medical beds; therapeutic surfaces for pressure injury prevention; venous thromboembolism (VTE) prevention devices such as the Flowtron Active Compression System; diagnostic tools under brands like Huntleigh Healthcare; and related services such as caregiver training, rentals and maintenance. Arjo operates globally with approximately 6,500 to 7,000 employees, five production units worldwide and sales in over 100 countries spanning Europe, North America, Asia, Latin America, Africa and the Pacific, serving acute care, long-term care and private/public institutions focused on patients with reduced mobility and age-related health challenges. In September 2024, Arjo acquired French diagnostics distributor Tech Med (turnover SEK 25 million) and German rental provider GerroMed (turnover SEK 30 million) for a combined SEK 70 million to strengthen positions in diagnostics, rentals and markets in France and Germany, with synergies expected from 2025; the company reported double-digit US growth and positive underlying profitability trends in its January-June 2025 interim report, alongside appointing Andréas Elgaard as new President & CEO effective January 2026; net sales reached approximately SEK 11 billion in both 2023 and 2024.
