The company serves financial institutions, government-sponsored enterprises, banks, asset managers, servicers, investors, property management firms, real estate brokerages, insurance companies, mortgage bankers, originators, and private lenders primarily in the United States and internationally. Founded in 1999 and headquartered in Luxembourg City, Luxembourg, Altisource recently completed a debt exchange transaction in early 2025 issuing approximately 58.2 million common shares, a new $110.0 million first lien term loan and $50.0 million non-interest bearing exit fee to restructure its balance sheet and reduce annual cash interest by about $18 million to $13 million, alongside a $12.5 million super senior credit facility for transaction costs and general purposes; it launched a residential renovation business in 2024 to expand single-family home services, announced a $17.5 million underwritten public offering, implemented a reverse stock split requiring shareholdings in multiples of eight by May 2025, and saw three technology platforms—Hubzu, Equator, and RentRange—recognized in HousingWire’s 2024 TECH100 Real Estate list while Lenders One added 29 new members and introduced L1 Insurance for homeowners and auto coverage.
