Business
Albion Resources Limited Albion Resources Limited (ASX: ALB) is an Australia-based mineral exploration company focused on acquiring, exploring and evaluating resource projects primarily in Western Australia. The company targets high-grade deposits of gold, zinc, lead, nickel, copper, silver and other base metals through its key projects including the flagship Yandal West Project in the Yandal Greenstone Belt prospective for gold; the Lennard Shelf Project in the Kimberley region targeting zinc-lead-silver; the Leinster Project prospective for nickel-copper; and the Mongers Lake Project. Operations are centered in Western Australia with headquarters in Perth and founded in 2001. In late 2024, Albion Resources Limited agreed to acquire the Yandal West Gold Project from Great Western Exploration Limited for AUD 1 million in shares and performance rights, a transaction completed in January 2025 that positioned the company in a world-class gold district proximate to major processing facilities; subsequent activities through mid-2025 included geophysical and geochemical surveys identifying high-priority drill targets at Yandal West, heritage clearances and the launch of a maiden reverse circulation drilling campaign as detailed in the June 2025 quarterly report.
