Business
Empire Resources Limited (ASX: ERL) is an Australia-based mineral exploration company focused on gold and copper deposits in Western Australia. Incorporated in 2000 and headquartered at 159 Stirling Highway, Nedlands, the company owns and explores four principal projects: the Yuinmery Copper-Gold Project, covering 106.7 square kilometers in the Youanmi Greenstone Belt 470 kilometers northeast of Perth and featuring a JORC 2012 resource of 2.52 million tonnes at 1.31% copper, 0.49 grams per tonne gold and 1.76 grams per tonne silver; the Nanadie Well Copper-Gold Project overlying the Barrambie Greenstone Belt southeast of Meekatharra; the Penny's Gold Project in the Gindalbie domain of the Eastern Goldfields 45 kilometers northeast of Kalgoorlie; and the Barloweerie Project. Empire conducts systematic exploration activities including reverse circulation and aircore drilling to delineate and expand mineral resources, targeting base and precious metals such as copper, gold, zinc, lead, silver, nickel and platinum group elements, primarily serving the mining industry through resource development and accretive investment opportunities. Recent exploration advancements include the completion of a 2,593-meter reverse circulation drilling program across six prospects at Yuinmery in June 2025, followed by a 2,000-meter aircore program commencing September 2025 targeting copper-gold and gold-only mineralization at YT01, YT12, YT19, Magnetic Hill, Main Road and Marcus-Augustus; assay results from these campaigns, building on favorable March 2025 drilling, are pending and aim to enhance resource potential including extensions at the Just Desserts deposit. The company held its annual general meeting on 27 November 2025 in Perth, featuring strategic updates, director re-elections and presentations on project progress; additionally, it issued unlisted options to support ongoing exploration and strengthened corporate governance frameworks. Empire maintains focus on sustainable development of its Western Australian tenements amid active drilling and resource evaluation efforts.
