Business
Havilah Resources Limited (ASX:HAV) explores and evaluates mineral resources in northeastern South Australia; its core projects include the flagship Kalkaroo copper-gold-cobalt deposit containing 1.3 million tonnes of copper, 3.2 million ounces of gold and 43,400 tonnes of cobalt, the Mutooroo copper-cobalt-gold project, the Grants and Maldorky iron ore projects with 451 million tonnes of iron ore, and the Prospect Hill tin project, plus additional deposits of uranium, tungsten, molybdenum and rare earth elements across more than 15,000 square kilometres of tenements in the highly prospective Curnamona Province. Founded in 1996 and headquartered in Kent Town, Adelaide, the company targets polymetallic deposits to leverage demand for copper, gold, cobalt and iron ore in global markets. In November 2025, Havilah entered a binding A$240 million agreement with Sandfire Resources granting the partner up to 80% interest in Kalkaroo through A$210 million project investment plus A$30 million regional exploration; in August 2025, it signed a term sheet with Heavy Rare Earths Limited for the Prospect Hill tin project under which the partner can earn 70% interest via exploration spending with reimbursement of Havilah's historical costs from future cash flows; the firm maintains its Mutooroo partnership with JX Advanced Metals for potential advancement.
