Alter Ego Media S.A. is a Greece-based integrated media and entertainment conglomerate engaged in television broadcasting, print and digital publishing, radio broadcasting, audiovisual content production, and commercial advertising services. Founded in 2016 and headquartered in Athens, Greece, the company operates across diverse media and communications verticals serving individual consumers, commercial advertisers, and corporate partners primarily throughout Greece, Cyprus, and international Greek-speaking markets. Alter Ego Media structures its core products and services into five principal business segments: Television Broadcasting, which operates MEGA Channel (Mega TV), a prominent national commercial free-to-air television network broadcasting daily news bulletins, current affairs, original drama series, entertainment formats, and sports programming, complemented by MEGA Play, an interactive hybrid OTT platform and FAST streaming service; Print Publishing, which publishes major national newspapers and periodicals including the daily newspaper Ta Nea, the Sunday newspaper To Vima, and associated lifestyle and cultural supplements such as BHMAgazino; Digital Media and Online Portals, which manages a portfolio of digital properties including the general news portal in.gr, tovima.gr, tanea.gr, the specialized financial and business news portal ot.gr (Oikonomikos Tachydromos), the health portal vita.gr, and licensed lifestyle titles including marieclaire.gr; Radio and Audio Production, which operates broadcast radio stations including My Radio 104.6 FM alongside digital audio networks producing on-demand podcasts and digital audio streaming; and Audiovisual Production, Event Management, and Commercial Services, which provides television and film production, historical media archive licensing, corporate events, economic forums, and digital marketing and programmatic advertising solutions. In recent major operational and corporate developments, Alter Ego Media S.A. initiated procedures for an initial public offering (IPO) and listing of its common shares on the Main Market of the Athens Exchange (ATHEX) to finance continued digital transformation, content generation, and technology investments. Concurrently, the company has expanded its multi-platform presence through the development of digital financial news forums under the OT.gr brand, broadened international distribution and content syndication agreements for its scripted drama library, accelerated rollout of FAST digital channels across connected TV environments, and enhanced automated advertising technology across its digital publishing network.
