Frigoglass S.A.I.C. is a Greece-based international group engaged in the manufacture, trade, and distribution of commercial refrigeration units, cooling systems, and glass packaging solutions for the beverage, food, and consumer goods industries. Founded in 1993 and headquartered in Athens, the company produces a comprehensive range of ice cold merchandisers including corner fridges, drawer fridges, wine cabinets, and cold rooms; customizable beverage coolers with advanced energy-efficient technologies such as the B energy class Max range; consumer appliances through its Norcool brand featuring minimalist Scandinavian-style cooling and wine storage solutions; and glass containers via Beta Glass ranging from 30ml to 1.5 liters in White Flint, Amber, and Emerald Green colors, alongside metal crowns and plastic crates. It also provides asset performance services through Frigoserve encompassing technical services, logistics, spare parts management, customer care, installations, refurbishments, repairs, and maintenance to optimize operational efficiency and reduce total cost of ownership. Frigoglass S.A.I.C. operates five best-in-class cooler production facilities in Europe, India, Indonesia, and South Africa, three glass production plants primarily in Nigeria, and serves high-growth markets in Africa, mature European markets including Bulgaria, Greece, Ireland, Poland, Romania, Russia, and Spain, as well as India, Indonesia, and Kenya, targeting top beverage brands and diverse sectors like soft drinks, beer, spirits, cosmetics, and pharmaceuticals. Recent strategic developments include the completion of a recapitalization and restructuring transaction in April 2023 through which Frigoglass S.A.I.C. acquired a 15% equity stake in Frigo DebtCo plc, the parent of the operational Frigoglass group; leadership changes announced in 2023; the inauguration of a new beverage coolers manufacturing plant in Romania in September 2023; and a legally binding agreement signed in September 2024 to acquire Provisiona Iberia S.L. in Spain and Serlusa Refrigerantes LDA in Portugal—operating under the Interbeverage Services brand in commercial refrigeration trading and maintenance—for €10.2 million via share issuance, expected to complete by June 2025 to expand its Iberian footprint and service capabilities.
