The company operates through three main segments: Aptar Pharma, which provides nasal and pulmonary drug delivery devices including pumps for nasal allergy treatments, metered-dose inhaler valves for respiratory conditions such as asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, elastomers for injectable packaging components, proprietary Unidose and Bidose intranasal delivery systems, aerosol valves, digital health solutions and clinical trial materials manufacturing services; Aptar Beauty, which offers dispensing pumps, closures, pouch spouts, spray pumps and valves for fragrance, make-up, skincare and cleansing products; and Aptar Closures, which supplies dispensing closures, dosing cups, droppers and other packaging solutions. AptarGroup sells its products primarily in North America, Europe, Asia and Latin America; the company was incorporated in 1992 and maintains headquarters in Crystal Lake, Illinois, with manufacturing facilities and over 13,000 employees across 20 countries. Recently, Aptar Pharma acquired the device technology assets of SipNose Nasal Delivery Systems in November 2025 to expand its intranasal drug delivery portfolio for local, systemic and central nervous system indications including nose-to-brain pathways; acquired clinical trial materials manufacturing capabilities of Mod3 Pharma in July 2025 to enhance Phase 1 and 2 formulation, fill-finish services for orally inhaled and nasal drug products at an FDA-inspected facility in Boonton, New Jersey; acquired Brazilian pharmaceutical packaging firm Sommaplast in December 2025 to strengthen oral dosing solutions such as closures, droppers, dispensers and dosing cups amid growth in over-the-counter and nutraceutical markets; issued approximately $600 million in senior unsecured notes due 2031 in November 2025 to bolster financial flexibility for operations and acquisitions; and extended collaboration with Nasus Pharma on intranasal epinephrine devices.
