- AuQ Gold Mining Inc. is a Canada-based mineral exploration company focused on the acquisition, exploration and development of gold and polymetallic mineral properties. The Company’s principal assets and exploration activities are located in Québec, Canada, and include the 100%-owned Bellechasse-Timmins gold project in the Beauce-Bellechasse region, approximately 100 kilometres southeast of Québec City; the project comprises six claims covering approximately 351.94 hectares and is being advanced through resource definition, geological evaluation and development planning. AuQ also holds interests in the Lac Crystal copper-polymetallic project on Québec’s Gaspé Peninsula, providing exposure to copper and associated polymetallic mineralization. Its services and activities include mineral-property acquisition; geological mapping and prospecting; geochemical and geophysical surveying; diamond drilling; sampling and assay analysis; mineral-resource estimation; technical reporting; and evaluation of potential development and transaction opportunities. The Company does not currently produce minerals and remains an exploration-stage issuer. In April 2025, AuQ received exchange approval and completed the acquisition of a 100% interest in the Bellechasse-Timmins project, expanding its Québec-focused gold portfolio. In October 2025, it completed the acquisition of the Lac Crystal copper-polymetallic project from HMK Mining Corp., broadening its commodity exposure beyond gold; it also completed the acquisition of the BT Claims and reported approximately CAD1 million of funding during 2025. In April 2026, the Company reported an updated National Instrument 43-101 mineral-resource estimate for Bellechasse-Timmins comprising indicated resources of 3.568 million tonnes grading 1.79 grams of gold per tonne, containing 206,000 ounces of gold, and inferred resources of 3.226 million tonnes grading 1.76 grams per tonne, containing 182,000 ounces of gold, and outlined a growth strategy for the project. AuQ Gold Mining Inc. was incorporated in 1985, is headquartered in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, and is listed on the TSX Venture Exchange under the symbol AUQ.
