Business
Golden Cross Resources Inc. is a Canadian mineral exploration company engaged in the acquisition, exploration and development of gold mineral properties, with its principal focus on the 100%-owned Reedy Creek Gold Project in central Victoria, Australia. The Company’s core activities include geological and structural mapping; geochemical soil sampling; geophysical surveying; diamond drilling; target generation and prioritization; and the evaluation of structurally controlled, high-grade orogenic and epizonal gold mineralization. Its Reedy Creek project comprises the Reedy Creek and Providence tenements, covering approximately 445 square kilometres in the Lachlan Fold Belt, approximately 10 kilometres northeast of Southern Cross Gold’s Sunday Creek discovery. The project includes multiple exploration targets and prospects, including Aurora, Prince of Wales, Wieneroider Ridge, Welcome Reef, Shepherd’s Hill, Thompson’s Reef and Empress Reef; the Company applies structural interpretation, geophysical methods and AI-assisted exploration targeting technology to identify high-grade quartz-vein and deeper mineralized systems. Golden Cross Resources is headquartered in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, and was incorporated in 2005; it was formerly known as Zincore Metals Inc. and changed its name to Golden Cross Resources Inc. in April 2025. The Company’s common shares trade on the TSX Venture Exchange under the symbol AUX, on the OTCQB under ZCRMF and on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange under ZMLO. Recent operational developments include the resumption of drilling at the Aurora prospect in May 2026 following a pilot geophysical survey, alongside geophysical programs at the Prince of Wales and Welcome Reef prospects to refine subsequent drill targets. In June 2026, the Company completed a non-brokered private placement of 22,058,821 units at C$0.17 per unit for gross proceeds of C$3.75 million; proceeds are designated to accelerate drilling and development at Reedy Creek and to provide general working capital.
