Business
Vivara Participações S.A. engages in the design, manufacture, marketing, and retail sale of jewelry and accessories as Latin America's largest jewelry chain, operating a vertically integrated model from conception through customer delivery. Founded in 1962 and headquartered in São Paulo, Brazil, the company serves all regions of Brazil through over 450 physical points of sale, including stores and kiosks under the Vivara and Life by Vivara brands, alongside a multichannel platform encompassing e-commerce, omnichannel initiatives such as Joias em Ação assisted sales and OMS orders, and coverage of more than 2,900 municipalities. Its core products encompass gold and silver jewelry including rings, necklaces, alliances, solitaires, earrings, chains, pendants, and bracelets; watches under Vivara Watches; accessories such as cufflinks, pens, sunglasses, passport holders, notebooks, wallets, bags, backpacks, pocket knives, keychains, watch bands, clocks, and gift cards; and fragrances under Vivara Fragrances; with recent emphases on high-margin categories like Life collections, lab-grown diamonds, and silver lines. The company maintains manufacturing facilities including its plant in Manaus, Amazonas, and a new distribution center in Espírito Santo that enhances operational efficiency, inventory turnover, tax credits, and margin expansion through optimized raw material management and e-commerce fulfillment ramp-up initiated in late 2024. Recent developments include historic store network expansion with 61 new outlets in 2023 bringing the total to 390 points of sale by year-end, transition to a new production plant, relocation to a new headquarters in São Paulo, record Q3 2025 revenue achieving the highest quarterly figure in company history driven by 14.1% jewelry and 22.6% Life category growth alongside strong same-store sales up 9.4%, sustained omnichannel digital sales growth, and ongoing operational improvements like lower CapEx/OpEx and strategic pricing diligence without gold purchase needs.
