Business
Club de Polo y Equitacion San Cristobal S.A. is a Chile-based sports, leisure, and real estate management company that owns, develops, and administers premier equestrian and multi-sport club facilities. Founded in 1947 and headquartered in Vitacura, Santiago, Chile, the company trades on the Santiago Stock Exchange under the ticker POLO and manages sports infrastructure in coordination with the non-profit Corporación Club de Polo y Equitación San Cristóbal to serve shareholders, club members, and athletic participants. The company provides a comprehensive range of sports facilities, recreational amenities, and hospitality services, which include: equestrian and polo facilities, comprising multiple regulation polo fields, sand and grass show jumping arenas, covered riding arenas, round pens, exercise tracks, and over 180 equine boarding stables; golf facilities, featuring a 60-hectare regulation 18-hole golf course, driving ranges, practice putting greens, and pro shop operations; racquet sports infrastructure, consisting of 20 clay tennis courts, modern padel courts, and squash courts; general fitness and athletics infrastructure, including synthetic-grass mini-football pitches, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, a gymnasium, and wellness spa facilities; social and corporate event venues, comprising private banquet halls, terrace lounges, bridge rooms, and meeting facilities; food and beverage services, featuring full-service dining at the central Club House restaurant, casual dining at La Pérgola cafeteria, and private event catering; youth and adult instructional academies across polo, equestrian riding, tennis, golf, and football; and digital facility management solutions, providing online reservation systems via mobile platforms for sports court and tee time scheduling. In recent developments, the company has executed a major strategic infrastructure expansion with the acquisition and multi-phase development of a 66.6-hectare satellite equestrian complex in the Chicureo district of Colina, created in alliance with Inmobiliaria San Miguel and real estate developers within the Campo de Polo San Miguel project, bringing 11 new high-standard polo fields into progressive operation to meet growing equestrian capacity demand. Furthermore, the company continues to execute capital modernization programs across its primary Vitacura properties, encompassing turf irrigation upgrades, equestrian arena resurfacing, enhanced clubhouse energy efficiency, and digital member platform enhancements while maintaining active corporate governance and regulatory compliance under the supervision of Chile's Financial Market Commission.
