Quilicura S.A. is a Chile-based investment holding company primarily engaged in industrial manufacturing, capital asset management, and equity portfolio administration. Founded on December 23, 1997, following the corporate restructuring and spin-off of Indugas S.A., the company is headquartered in Las Condes, Santiago, Chile, and is controlled by Inversiones Málaga S.A. The company conducts its core industrial operations through its principal consolidated operating subsidiary, Metrain S.A., offering a comprehensive portfolio that includes the engineering and manufacturing of steel liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) cylinders in standard domestic and commercial formats; the provision of certified technical inspection, pressure testing, and hydrostatic recertification services for in-service LPG vessels authorized by the Superintendence of Electricity and Fuels (SEC); the periodic maintenance, reconditioning, shot blasting, painting, and valve replacement for pressurized gas containers; and the management, acquisition, and exploitation of industrial real estate, securities, and financial equity assets. Quilicura S.A. primarily serves major liquefied petroleum gas distribution corporations, energy utilities, and commercial fuel retailers across Chile. In recent corporate developments, the group executed a major strategic portfolio realignment following the agreement and subsequent early 2026 regulatory clearance by the National Economic Prosecutor's Office (FNE) for the acquisition of related pharmaceutical holdings Instituto Sanitas S.A. and Chemopharma S.A. by Laboratorios Saval S.A. Following this divestment, Quilicura S.A. has concentrated its core operational activities on the expansion and modernization of its Metrain S.A. cylinder manufacturing infrastructure, while executing balance sheet realignments, share registry regularizations, and reporting updates under the supervision of the Financial Market Commission (CMF).
