Business
Blue Dolphin Energy Company participates in the refining and commercialization of petroleum products across the United States. The organization conducts its business through two principal divisions: Refinery Operations and Tolling and Terminaling. Within its refinery segment, the company operates a light sweet-crude processing facility in Nixon, Texas, featuring a 15,000 barrels per day crude distillation unit and possessing over 1.25 million barrels of petroleum storage capacity. This facility, strategically located in the Eagle Ford Shale region, produces finished jet fuel along with various intermediate products, such as naphtha, heavy oil mud blendstock, and atmospheric gas oil. The company’s tolling and terminaling division offers storage and handling services for external clients at its Nixon site, providing tank rentals and in-tank blending capabilities. Established in 1986, the company maintains its corporate headquarters in Houston, Texas, and functions as a subsidiary of Lazarus Energy Holdings, LLC.
