Business
Anel Elektrik Proje Taahhut ve Ticaret A.S. is a Turkey-based engineering and construction contracting company that provides integrated electrical, mechanical, and technology infrastructure solutions for large-scale, complex developments worldwide. Founded in 1986 and headquartered in Istanbul, Turkey, the company serves as the flagship enterprise of the Anel Group and delivers turnkey mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems across the commercial, transportation, healthcare, hospitality, energy, and defense sectors. The company organizes its operations into core business segments encompassing MEP Contracting, Facility Operation and Maintenance, Low and Medium-Voltage Panel Manufacturing, Marine Systems, Renewable Energy, and Real Estate Management. Its primary product and service offerings comprise: turnkey mechanical contracting including heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems, plumbing, fire protection, and building automation; comprehensive electrical contracting covering high-, medium-, and low-voltage distribution systems, transformer substations, emergency power backup systems, internal and external lighting networks, and instrumentation; ongoing facility operation and maintenance (O&M) services aimed at energy optimization, lifecycle asset management, and preventive maintenance; the custom design, assembly, and testing of low-voltage and medium-voltage power distribution boards, motor control centers, and automation control panels under the AnelSis brand; naval and commercial marine electrical engineering, encompassing power generation, automation, cabling, and communication systems via Anel Marin; renewable energy engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) solutions focusing on solar photovoltaic (PV) power plants and electrical equipment recycling; telecommunications network installations; and real estate leasing and asset management. Anel Elektrik executes projects across domestic and international markets, maintaining operational footprints and project references in Turkey, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Egypt, the United Kingdom, and the Netherlands. The company primarily targets infrastructure developers, airport authorities, industrial operators, and general construction contractors, having delivered major electromechanical installations for international airports, rail transit systems, hospitals, corporate headquarters, and high-rise developments. In recent corporate and strategic developments, Anel Elektrik has pursued balance sheet restructuring and intra-group share consolidations, including approving the acquisition of 100% of the share capital of ANEL NET Teknik Hizmetler and acquiring the remaining 47.5% equity interest in Anel Yapi Gayrimenkul to assume full ownership, as well as purchasing shares in Anel Holding. Strategically, the company has undertaken international restructuring to streamline its global corporate structure, including initiating the formal liquidation and wind-down of its United Kingdom operational subsidiary, Anel Engineering & Contracting Limited, while actively managing contract handovers, performance bond settlements, and dispute resolutions concerning major international joint ventures in Qatar and the Netherlands.
