- Barem Ambalaj Sanayi ve Ticaret AS is a Turkey-based packaging manufacturing company specializing in the design, production, and supply of offset-printed corrugated cardboard packaging and paper-based carton solutions. Founded in 1999 and headquartered in Izmir, Turkey, the company operates three primary manufacturing plants situated in Izmir, Karaman, and Gaziantep. Barem Ambalaj primarily serves industrial and commercial clients across multiple sectors, including fast-moving consumer goods, food and beverage, consumer electronics, household appliances, agriculture, textiles, cosmetics, and automotive spare parts, distributing its products across domestic markets as well as exporting to Europe, the Middle East, and North Africa. The company offers a comprehensive range of packaging products and related converting services, comprising offset-printed corrugated cardboard boxes in various flute profiles such as E-flute, B-flute, C-flute, and double-wall combinations including EB-flute and BC-flute; high-graphic consumer folding cartons and duplex cardboard packaging; shelf-ready packaging and retail-ready packaging systems; point-of-sale and point-of-purchase promotional floor stands and display units; heavy-duty industrial shipping containers; moisture-resistant agricultural and fresh produce boxes; specialized gift and presentation boxes; and end-to-end converting services including structural packaging design, prepress preparation, offset lithographic printing, UV lacquering, film lamination, hot foil stamping, embossing, window patching, and automated die-cutting. In recent strategic developments, Barem Ambalaj has pursued vertical integration through a major greenfield investment in a paper production facility located in the Konya Eregli Organized Industrial Zone, designed to manufacture testliner and fluting paper from recycled raw materials to optimize supply chain security and reduce operating costs. Additionally, the company has expanded its capital investments by installing rooftop solar photovoltaic power systems across its Izmir, Karaman, and Gaziantep facilities to achieve renewable energy self-sufficiency, alongside commissioning high-capacity multi-color offset printing machinery, high-speed automated laminators, and robotic converting lines to significantly increase overall production capacity and meet growing market demand.
