- Doktas Dokumculuk Ticaret ve Sanayi A.S. manufactures and sells iron and aluminum casting components and aluminum wheels for the automotive, commercial vehicle, agricultural, construction, and general machinery industries. Founded in 1973 and headquartered in Orhangazi, Bursa, Turkey, the company operates as a subsidiary of Celik Holding A.S. and maintains international marketing and distribution operations through its subsidiary, Doktas Trading UK Limited.
The company operates through three principal manufacturing segments: Iron Castings, Aluminum Castings, and Aluminum Wheels. Its Iron Castings segment produces grey (pig) iron, ductile (nodular) iron, and compacted graphite iron components, including engine blocks, cylinder heads, crankshafts, camshafts, brake discs, brake drums, wheel hubs, steering knuckles, exhaust manifolds, axle housings, flywheel housings, and transmission cases. Its Aluminum Castings segment utilizes high-pressure die casting (HPDC) and low-pressure die casting (LPDC) technologies to manufacture engine blocks, transmission cases, clutch housings, gearbox covers, oil pans, structural chassis parts, water and oil pump housings, steering system components, and battery housings for electric and hybrid vehicles. Its Aluminum Wheels segment designs and manufactures alloy wheels for passenger cars and light commercial vehicles supplied to original equipment manufacturers (OEM), original equipment suppliers (OES), and the automotive aftermarket. In addition to casting, the company provides value-added services comprising precision CNC machining; 3D sand core printing and prototyping; tooling and mold design; robotic grinding; heat treatment; surface finishing; sub-assembly; and comprehensive metallurgical and mechanical testing.
Doktas Dokumculuk serves major global automotive and industrial OEMs across Europe, North America, and Turkey, including manufacturers of passenger cars, medium and heavy-duty commercial trucks, tractors, earthmoving machinery, and industrial engines. The company operates Turkey's largest iron foundry and machining complex in Orhangazi, alongside advanced aluminum casting and wheel production facilities situated in the Manisa Organized Industrial Zone.
In recent developments, Doktas Dokumculuk completed a 20 million Euro strategic investment program across its Manisa aluminum manufacturing operations to expand production capacity and technological capability for next-generation electric and hybrid vehicle components, including aluminum battery trays and lightweight structural chassis parts. Concurrently, the company modernized its Orhangazi iron foundry through the integration of automated molding lines, robotic fettling and grinding cells, and expanded precision machining infrastructure. Doktas Dokumculuk has also deployed advanced additive manufacturing technologies, including industrial 3D sand printing systems for core production and rapid prototyping, while advancing green manufacturing and energy efficiency initiatives across its production facilities.
