Founded in 2004 and headquartered in Istanbul, Turkey, the company operates across three primary business segments: Electrification, Automation, and Digitalization. Its comprehensive product and service portfolio includes turnkey EPC contracting for renewable energy facilities encompassing utility-scale solar photovoltaic (PV) plants, onshore wind power plants, and small-scale hydroelectric systems; design, engineering, supply, civil works, installation, testing, and commissioning of high-voltage (HV) and medium-voltage (MV) air-insulated and gas-insulated electrical substations and overhead transmission lines; industrial power distribution systems and grid interconnection infrastructure; supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) systems, distributed control systems (DCS), programmable logic controllers (PLC), generation management systems (GMS), and energy management systems (EMS); custom process automation, drive systems, and electrical instrumentation solutions for heavy industries including mining, cement, chemicals, metals, oil and gas, and water and wastewater treatment facilities; proprietary digitalization and smart grid software platforms utilizing artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, Internet of Things (IoT), and blockchain for asset performance optimization, load forecasting, demand response, and electric vehicle (EV) charging network integration; and engineering, manufacturing, containerized integration, and life-cycle maintenance of lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery energy storage systems (BESS) for utility, commercial, and industrial applications. The company serves public utilities, independent power producers, grid operators, municipal infrastructure authorities, and industrial conglomerates across more than 40 countries throughout Europe, Central Asia, the Middle East, and Africa. YEO Teknoloji conducts its specialized operations through several subsidiaries and affiliates, including Reap Batarya Teknolojileri A.S. for energy storage technologies, Defic Globe for international renewable energy project development and asset management, Mikrohes for small-scale hydropower solutions, Grid Technologies for regional industrial automation, and REY Enerji for joint EPC ventures. In recent strategic developments, YEO Teknoloji completed and commissioned its 5 GWh annual capacity energy storage gigafactory in Tuzla, Istanbul, operated via its subsidiary Reap Battery; entered into a binding joint venture partnership with global battery cell manufacturer Great Power, under which Reap Battery holds a 51% controlling interest to manufacture and commercialize stationary storage solutions under the ReapG and Great Power brands across European, Middle Eastern, and Central Asian markets; accelerated its European renewable project portfolio through large-scale solar PV development and EPC agreements in Romania and North Macedonia in cooperation with global energy developers such as Scatec; and broadened its technological footprint into green hydrogen production systems and advanced membrane technologies through its YEO Hydrogen initiatives.
