Business
Bathurst Metals Corp. is an exploration-stage Canadian mineral exploration company engaged in the acquisition, exploration and development of gold and polymetallic mineral properties in British Columbia and Nunavut, Canada. The Company’s principal activities include exploration targeting for gold, silver, copper, nickel, lead, zinc, platinum-group metals and related base metals; geological mapping; geochemical soil, rock and channel sampling; diamond drilling; ground magnetometer and very-low-frequency electromagnetic surveying; mineral-claim acquisition and option transactions; and the evaluation and advancement of prospective precious- and base-metal occurrences. Bathurst Metals is headquartered in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, and is listed on the TSX Venture Exchange under the symbol BMV and on the OTC Markets under BMVVF. The Company’s primary assets comprise the 100%-owned Peerless Gold-Silver Property in the Gold Bridge/Bralorne mining camp of south-central British Columbia and the 100%-owned Turner Lake/TED project area in the Bathurst Inlet region of Nunavut. The Peerless Property comprises approximately 56 square kilometres, including 14 mineral claims, and hosts gold, silver, lead and zinc anomalies across several target areas, including the Peerless, Alpha, Beta, Gamma, Delta and Epsilon zones. The Company is advancing exploration of structurally controlled orogenic gold targets at Peerless, where historical workings, sampling and drilling have identified gold mineralization and where it maintains an active drill permit. The Turner Lake/TED land package comprises approximately 125 square kilometres and includes the Turner Lake Main Gold Zone, the TED gold showing, the Nickel Knob nickel-copper-silver occurrence and the Turner East gold-silver occurrence. Turner Lake is an Archean lode-gold target, while the TED showing contains gold-bearing iron-formation mineralization; Nickel Knob is a polymetallic sulphide target prospective for nickel, copper and silver. Bathurst also holds or controls additional exploration interests in Nunavut, including the Gela Lake, McAvoy Lake, McGregor Lake, Speers Lake, Iron Gold, North Core, Gladstone Gold, Northern Gold and West Gold properties, which expand its exposure to gold, copper, nickel, platinum-palladium, chromite and silver targets. Bathurst Metals’ business model centers on advancing early-stage and drill-ready mineral properties through systematic exploration, selectively expanding its land position around prospective mineralized trends, and entering option arrangements where appropriate. The Company has optioned the Muskox Property to SPC Nickel Corp., under an arrangement providing for cash and share consideration while SPC Nickel advances exploration of the property. Bathurst’s operations are focused solely in Canada, with its core exploration emphasis divided between the historic high-grade Gold Bridge camp in British Columbia and Archean greenstone-belt terrain in Nunavut. Recent strategic developments include the completion of 50 line-kilometres of ground magnetometer surveys and 25 line-kilometres of VLF-EM surveys at the Peerless Gold-Silver Project in June 2026, work intended to refine drill targets at the Alpha and Beta zones. In March 2026, the Company agreed to acquire 100% interests in the Iron Gold and North Core properties, comprising approximately 887 hectares and 730 hectares, respectively, thereby expanding its land position south of the Turner Lake/TED project and west of the Pistol Lake deposit in Nunavut. In January 2026, Bathurst optioned the adjacent Gladstone Gold and Northern Gold properties, adding approximately 2,583 hectares near Turner Lake/TED. In March 2026, founder Harold Forzley retired from the board after more than 20 years of service; Etienne Gouin-Proulx was appointed interim chief executive officer and director, and Jean-François Meilleur joined the board. In June 2026, Bathurst announced a proposed non-brokered private placement of up to 18.75 million units at C$0.08 per unit for aggregate gross proceeds of up to C$1.5 million, intended to support its exploration and corporate activities.
