Borr Drilling Limited is an international offshore shallow-water drilling contractor that owns and operates a modern fleet of premium jack-up rigs for the global oil and gas industry. Founded in 2016 and headquartered in Hamilton, Bermuda, Borr Drilling maintains a global presence with active operations in regions including the United States Gulf of Mexico, Mexico, Brazil, North Sea, West Africa, Middle East, Southeast Asia, Europe, Latin America, the Netherlands, Congo, and Angola. In recent developments, the company secured 22 new contract commitments year-to-date through 2025 covering over 4,820 days with approximately $625 million in potential revenue, including multi-year extensions for rigs Galar, Gersemi, and Njord in Mexico valued at $213 million, a 320-day contract for Norve in West Africa worth $58 million, new awards for Odin and Grid expanding into the Gulf of America and Angola, and additional commitments for Prospector 1 and Natt in the Netherlands and Congo; Borr Drilling also completed a $102.5 million equity offering in July 2025 to bolster liquidity, appointed Bruno Morand as CEO and Patrick Schorn as Executive Chairman in September 2025, added Thiago Mordehachvili to its Board of Directors in August 2025, and navigated contract terminations for Odin and Hild due to international sanctions while achieving 99.6% technical utilization across its active rigs.
