Business
Canada Carbon Inc. (TSX-V:CCB, OTC:BRUZF) is a Canada-based junior mineral exploration company focused on acquiring, exploring and developing graphite properties in Quebec. The company holds 100% interests in the flagship Miller hydrothermal lump-vein graphite project, covering approximately 100 square kilometers west of Montreal in Grenville Township, a past-producing mine operational around 1845; and the Asbury graphite project, comprising 22 claims totaling 119 hectares northeast of Notre-Dame-Du-Laus in the Laurentides region, also a former producer. These properties target high-value graphite deposits suitable for applications in refractory materials, crucibles, auto parts, gaskets, powder metallurgy, batteries, fuel cells, dispersions and specialty products supporting the green energy transition. Founded in 1985 as Bolero Resources Corp. and renamed Canada Carbon Inc. in October 2012, the company is headquartered at The Canadian Venture Building, 82 Richmond Street East, Toronto, Ontario M5C 1P1. Operations remain centered in Canada, with exploration activities exclusively in Quebec's Grenville and Laurentides regions. In recent developments, Canada Carbon completed a bulk sample program at the Asbury Graphite Project in October 2024 to evaluate graphitic carbon recovery via flotation, distinguishing graphitic from carbonate carbon. The company closed a private placement of units in November 2024 to fund ongoing exploration; expressed concerns in September 2025 over Quebec's CPTAQ regulatory decisions impacting critical minerals development at Miller; and continues advancing the Miller project's preliminary economic assessment from April 2016 alongside updated assays and drilling data.
