Business
Asia Capital Limited is an Indian financial services company and Reserve Bank of India-registered Non-Deposit Taking Non-Banking Financial Company (NBFC-ND) that specializes in credit provision, structured lending, and proprietary investment operations. Founded in 1983 and headquartered in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, the company operates as a subsidiary of SKC Investment Advisors Private Limited, which maintains majority promoter ownership. Asia Capital Limited serves small and medium enterprises (SMEs), corporate institutions, and individual investors across India through a diversified portfolio of financial offerings, including: structured term loans and tailored debt financing for SME business growth and working capital requirements; secured and unsecured corporate credit facilities against movable and immovable assets; loans against securities (LAS), enabling clients to access liquidity against listed equity shares, bonds, mutual fund units, and debentures; proprietary capital market investments, involving the underwriting, acquisition, holding, and trading of equity instruments, government securities, and fixed-income debt securities; and real estate asset investments spanning commercial properties, land, and development projects. In recent corporate developments, Asia Capital Limited approved an increase in its operational borrowing limits beyond its paid-up capital and free reserves to facilitate asset book expansion and support higher credit disbursements, reconstituted its compliance and oversight structures with the appointment of new secretarial auditors, executed balance sheet deleveraging and working capital rationalization measures to improve capital efficiency, and accelerated the integration of streamlined marketplace lending workflows to expand its small enterprise loan origination footprint.
