Bansal Wire Industries Ltd. operates as a leading manufacturer specializing in a diverse range of steel wire products including stainless steel wires and bars, high and low carbon steel wires, cable armouring wires and strips, galvanized wires, profile and shaped wires, aluminium alloy wires, spring steel wires, welding wires, needle wires, and wires for applications in automotive springs, nut bolts, and mesh. Its product portfolio serves key industries such as automotive, power, infrastructure, fasteners, kitchenware, utensils, and general engineering, with wire diameters ranging from fine 0.05mm to thick 16mm sizes. The company manufactures stainless steel wires in AISI 200, 300, and 400 series and produces cable armouring wires compliant with Indian and international standards. Founded in 1983 and headquartered in Ghaziabad, India, Bansal Wire Industries operates multiple manufacturing facilities and is establishing what will be one of Asia's largest single-location steel wire manufacturing plants in Dadri. Recent major developments include the launch in October 2025 of induction hardened and tempered wire with a 9,000-ton capacity targeted at domestic automotive springs, ongoing capital expenditure of about ₹600 crore to expand production capacity by 2.5 times, and new product introductions including specialized wires to enhance EBITDA margins. The company also faced a significant GST show-cause notice in late 2025 for the financial year 2020-21 but has stated this will not affect its financial position or operations. Bansal Wire completed its initial public offering in July 2024 and focuses on serving both domestic and international markets, leveraging strategic industrial lease agreements and expanding capacity to support projected volume growth of 20-25% annually. It operates under the umbrella of the Bansal Group and maintains a broad product mix adaptable to customer requirements in the steel wire industry.
