Federal-Mogul Goetze (India) Limited manufactures and supplies automotive engine components, primarily pistons, piston rings, cylinder liners, sintered parts, engine valves, valve seats and guides; it also produces dynamic seals, bearings, ignition plugs and coils for applications in two- and three-wheelers, passenger vehicles, sport utility vehicles, commercial vehicles, tractors, stationary engines, locomotives and industrial engines. Federal-Mogul Group, ultimately held by Apollo Global Management funds following the 2022 acquisition of Tenneco, owns approximately 75% stake and provides technical and managerial support. Recent developments include a change in rating approach to consolidated basis incorporating the subsidiary due to operational linkages as of April 2025, board appointment of Jason Wesley Johnson effective August 2025, sustained revenue growth to INR 1,698 crore in FY24 with 6% year-over-year increase in 9MFY25 driven by higher realizations and product mix, and PBILDT margin expansion to 14.6% amid cost efficiencies and OEM demand uptick; the company maintains negligible debt, strong liquidity with over INR 600 crore in cash and investments, and plans maintenance capex of INR 80-90 crore annually funded internally.
