Business
Gabriel Pet Straps Limited is an India-based packaging solutions manufacturer specializing in the production and supply of heavy-duty industrial strapping solutions and packaging accessories. Founded in 2020 and headquartered in Rajkot, Gujarat, India, the company caters to a diverse range of domestic industries, including cotton baling, textiles, paper, timber, metal fabrication, and freight logistics. The company primary product and service portfolio comprises: polyester (PET) strapping bands manufactured under the proprietary Gabriel brand, engineered in widths from 9 mm to 32 mm and thicknesses from 0.70 mm to 1.30 mm utilizing virgin hot-washed PET flakes and post-consumer recycled PET materials; polypropylene (PP) straps designed for light-to-medium bundling requirements; manual, pneumatic, and battery-operated handheld strapping tools; metal PET strap clips, serrated seals, and edge protectors; biaxially oriented polypropylene (BOPP) self-adhesive packaging tapes; and customized bulk industrial packaging and palletization solutions. In recent major corporate developments, the company transitioned from a limited liability partnership into a public limited company in August 2023 and subsequently completed its initial public offering (IPO) on the BSE SME platform in February 2024, raising approximately INR 8.06 crore in fresh capital. The capital proceeds are allocated toward the prepayment and repayment of existing borrowings, acquisition of land for operational expansion, nationwide distribution channel development, and capital expenditures for an on-site captive solar power plant to reduce operational costs and support sustainable manufacturing initiatives.
