Business
KSH International Ltd. is an India-based manufacturer of specialized magnet winding wires and insulated electrical conductors for the power transmission, distribution, and capital goods industries. Founded in 1979 and headquartered in Pune, Maharashtra, the company produces an engineered portfolio of electrical conductor solutions, including continuously transposed conductors (CTC) for extra-high voltage (EHV) and high-voltage direct current (HVDC) power transformers; paper-insulated covered rectangular copper and aluminium conductors (PICC) for oil-filled electrical transformers; round and rectangular enamelled copper and aluminium magnet winding wires; bunched paper-insulated copper conductors; and high-conductivity bare copper rods and strips. The company's products cater to original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and industrial customers across power generation and distribution, renewable energy infrastructure, electric vehicle (EV) traction drivetrains, heavy-duty industrial electric motors, power alternators, and railway locomotive equipment. Operating manufacturing plants in Chakan and Supa in Maharashtra, India, KSH International supplies domestic utilities and exports to more than 20 international markets across North America, Europe, Asia-Pacific, and the Middle East, including the United States, Germany, Japan, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates. In December 2025, the company completed an initial public offering (IPO) and listed its equity shares on the National Stock Exchange of India (NSE: KSHINTL) and the BSE. Recent operational developments include the commissioning of an in-house upcast copper rod manufacturing facility at Chakan in August 2026 for backward integration, alongside the commissioning and scale-up of Phase 1 of its Supa production plant, backed by regulatory operating consents and captive rooftop solar energy integration to support expanded capacity.
